trending pop culture reflecting current world affairs

bleh i think the parallels i see would be an interesting topic to write an essay about.. not so much about the fact that it happens, but maybe an analysis of our culture currently: what is popular, what fails to grow an audience, what is yet to be released, and with this, a comparison of trends in the past to potentially predict future events.
I will then make myself a bingo card, and see how well is compares with the 2026 bingo card Hank Green is yet to release on his youtube channel.

I think the recent boost in popularity Cyberpunk as a genre is quite an easy and self-expanatory example of pop culture reflecting world affairs and politics, especially considering how fast the genre seem to die down after the term first coined in the 80s...... but the steady increase in the amount of space exploration films coming out at the moment is what really got me wondering how deeply i could try analyse these patterns.

A, I'd say very experimental album--especially considering the date it was released. Massive attack so its gonna be fucking good need i say more (i think theyre a really good duo at least)
compared to Mezzanine, one of their more popular albums, music is a lot lighter and easier to jam to, very disco-esque with some rnb/reggae influence? lmao idk
